Information for Parents
Established relationships with parents mean we can share information positively and effectively to support every child as much as possible.
Hours of Operation
Eligible hours of care are based on parents' working hours plus a half-hour for pick-up. For example, if your working hours are 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., your eligible hours of care are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Communication
Open communication between parents and staff is strongly encouraged. Teachers want to learn what's important to you as a parent and use that information when planning for the group.
Medical Information
In line with our regulator's requirements, we keep a copy of each child's immunisation record, or a written statement of religious or conscientious objection to immunisation.
Injuries
If your child is injured at the Centre, staff will administer basic first aid. If medical attention is required, we will reach parents immediately and call Emergency Services where needed.
Clothing
Exploration often gets messy! All of the materials we use are washable, but some paint colours can be stubborn — please send your child in clothes that you don't mind getting marked.
Nutrition
Children are encouraged to taste a variety of foods but are never forced to eat foods they don't wish to. Every part of a meal makes up a child's nutritional requirement, so no food is withheld.
Parent Resources
The Parent Handbook covers our mission, philosophy, policies, and day-to-day procedures. Forms below are PDF downloads — get in touch if you need help with any of them.
Parent documents will appear here once they're uploaded.
